CTB is a New Zealand automotive engineering, performance and vehicle specialist based in Auckland.
What began as a family automotive business has grown into an operation spanning complete vehicles, performance development, parts, workshop services, panel and paint, vehicle preparation and specialist automotive projects.
For decades, we have worked with Ford New Zealand and the Ford dealer network, while building CTB into a name recognised by enthusiasts throughout New Zealand.
But we're still a family business, and we still build cars here in Auckland.
HOW WE WORK
MORE THAN A PERFORMANCE SHOP.
CTB brings together the capabilities of a specialist workshop, an engineering company and a vehicle manufacturer.
We develop and test our own performance packages. We build complete vehicles. We source and distribute components from some of the world's leading automotive brands. And we support the vehicles we build through our own workshop.
From a calibration or suspension upgrade to a complete CTB or RTR vehicle, the same philosophy applies:
Performance, drivability, reliability, legality and the way the finished vehicle feels all matter.
Because adding power is easy.
Building a complete vehicle is harder.

Our performance packages are developed using real vehicles, real testing and our own in-house dyno.
Engine and transmission calibration, cooling, intake, exhaust, suspension and supporting hardware are considered as a complete package rather than individual parts.
Where LVV certification is required, we work through the certification process so the finished vehicle isn't just fast — it's built to be used.
That development continues long after a package first goes on sale.
We learn from the vehicles we build, refine them and keep developing.
CTB × RTR
PROVEN BEYOND THE WORKSHOP.
CTB introduced RTR Vehicles to New Zealand in 2017, beginning a relationship that has grown well beyond supplying parts.
Today, we build and support RTR Mustangs in New Zealand and continue to represent the brand locally.
Our involvement in New Zealand motorsport has also put RTR Mustangs into one of the harshest development environments possible — drifting — through our long-running involvement with Fanga Dan Woolhouse and D1NZ.
What we learn through motorsport feeds directly into the development culture behind the vehicles we build.

CTB has evolved beyond modifying vehicles.
Today, we develop and build complete vehicles under the CTB name alongside our RTR and Ford programmes.
More performance where it needs it. Better stance. Better sound. The right components. Proper integration. And nothing added simply for the sake of adding it.
The result should feel like one vehicle — not a collection of aftermarket parts.
